After lunch we go to Burana Tower IX century of construction, and then to dinner with the craftswoman Gulmira. After dinner she will hold a master class on weaving for us.

Enjoy the peace, beauty and tranquility of the lake and a delicious lunch - these are the main impressions of the day. Enjoy simple life without gadgets, innovations and far-fetched stereotypes. Only nature and tranquility.

Possible locations for plein air:

Day 4
Day 5
Today is one of the most memorable days our journey. We will visit a real life hunter with golden eagles. Salbuurun is an ancient craft of the nomads. The hunter ventures out into the mountains on horses with trained golden eagles and taigans (Kyrgyz hunting greyhounds).

In Almazbek’s house we will get to know this craft and how hunters live now and tame birds. We'll spend half a day here and, believe me, you won’t want to leave.

Almazbek's wife will feed us the most delicious manta (dumplings with meat) rays throughout Kyrgyzstan, and the owner will play to us on komuz during the lunch. Then we go to the Skazka (Fairytale) canyon - the most popular canyon in the country.

In the evening we will visit the master who creates the traditional Kyrgyz yurt and you can even assemble it yourself. You'll be surprised how easy this process is - after all, every detail in the yurt everything is thought out. This day is the most eventful in the program!

Possible locations for plein air:
  • Hunter's house with golden eagles and taigans
Day 5
Day 6
A day of minimal travelling. After breakfast we'll stop by the souvenir shop. Then we go to the Kok Zhayik gorge – one of the most picturesque gorges of Issyk-Kul.

Here we will take a horseback ride to the waterfall Maiden braids, and for lunch a real Uyghur lagman (noodles) awaits us. It is very tasty!

Closer to sunset we will go up to the observation deck Jeti Oguz gorge site. Here you can rest and make a sketch.

Possible locations for plein air:
  • Kok Zhaik gorge with snowy peaks and Tien Shan firs
  • Jeti Oguz rocks
Day 6
Day 7
Karakol is an international city within Kyrgyzstan. Many nationalities live here. One of the most charismatic are the Dungans. These are the Chinese professing Islam. In the 19th century there were 8 waves of migration to the territory of Kyrgyzstan. To this day about 100,000 Dungans live here.

First we will visit the Dungan mosque build in 1910 . It is made in a pagoda style without a single nail. A spectacle of colours and sophisticated carvings made this object one of the most visited in the city of Karakol, and at the same time it is a working mosque.

In the afternoon we will go to a Dungan house where a traditional dungan lunch will be waiting for us: ashlyanfu - cold soup, hogo - noodles with vegetables and meat, tomomo - shortcrust pastry buns with nuts and dates.

Here we will learn a lot about the history and culture of the people.

Our two-week trip through Kyrgyzstan with a group of nine people was just incredibly exciting and beautiful. During this time we were able to marvel at so many natural phenomena and experience extraordinary landscapes – it was all very fascinating. The diversity of nature, from majestic mountains to picturesque valleys to crystal clear lakes, has impressed us time and again.

Special thanks go to Sarykys for the excellent planning and execution of our trip. Their expertise and care allowed us to fully enjoy the beauty of Kyrgyzstan. Every stage of our trip was well organized, and we felt well looked after at all times.

This trip was an unforgettable adventure that we will remember for a long time. We can only warmly recommend Sarykys and are already looking forward to our next adventure with them.

Thank you for a fantastic trip! I travel frequently with my son and this time we decided on Kyrgyzstan, it was even more amazing than we expected! Larisa organized the trip perfectly from door to door with a great mix of hiking, immersion in nature but also experiencing the local culture and environment. We learned so much about the country, its many stunning landscapes, the delicious food, and it’s wonderful and warm people. I have recommended it to everyone and can’t wait to go back again!

Larisa organized an absolutely stunning trip for my family.😍 The trip was perfectly planned, with Larisa taking into consideration all our preferences for the stay and choosing absolutely fascinating places. We couldn’t stop admiring and enjoying the beauty. Kyrgyzstan is a wonderful country, and the beauty of its nature leaves you speechless.

However, I would like to note that the main wealth of Kyrgyzstan is its people. Larisa arranged many meetings with locals, giving us a unique opportunity to feel the spirit of the country and see life in Kyrgyzstan through the eyes of those who preserve and revive nomadic traditions and pass them on to future generations. I highly recommend Larisa and her agency for organizing your trip to Kyrgyzstan, and I look forward to going back again.❤️

Absolutely thrilled to share our unforgettable adventure in Kyrgyzstan organized by Larisa! My wife, and our parents had an amazing time from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, we didn’t have to worry about a thing—our only job was to walk around and say "wow" repeatedly. Larisa really knows the country inside and out, from the best places to visit to the nice restaurants and unique things to do.
The first few days were packed with so many incredible sights and activities. As per our request, after the busy start, we had a few days to unwind in an amazing hotel by the beach. It was the perfect way to relax, digest our adventures, and recharge.
I would say the highlight was how most of the activities involved locals, allowing us to immerse ourselves in their customs and traditions. It feels great to support small local businesses. I can highly recommend Larisa.

I had the opportunity to travel to Kyrgyzstan from the Netherlands for one week last May. Since I did not know where to start, a friend of mine, with roots in Bishkek, recommended me to talk to Larisa and gave me her number. Larisa and I talked about the possibilities via WhatsApp and she organised the perfect tailor made one week itinerary for me. Everything was excellent. The knowledgeable local guides, the safe and comfortable transportation, the great accommodations, excellent food and amazing activities and sights. The week was a dream come true and and I can really recommend Larisa for helping
any future travellers visiting the region, for helping you achieve the
perfect experience. Five stars without hesitation. Thank you so much Larisa and team 🙏🏼

The eyes couldn’t keep up with the beauty...

So the journey through beautiful Kyrgyzstan has come to an end. In the 6 days during the tour I managed to see so many places that my eyes didn’t have time to enjoy its beauty, I wanted to press pause and sit, look at the mountains and rivers, remembering every detail.

Over the course of 6 days we met many kind and interesting people who were welcomed us into their homes as if they we were old acquaintances (prepare your stomachs, you definitely won’t leave hungry). Every place, every house and guesthouse was filled with warmth and kind care for their guests.

And, of course, our wonderful tour leader Larisa. A person who is in love with this country, with her business and with life in general, and at the same time an incredible professional in everything she does. A person who you can thank for when you fly away, you leave a part of your heart in Kyrgyzstan, with its beauty and the people who surrounded you all this time. A person who made this trip feel like the best experience and filled my heart with incredible warmth. And this all also had the opposite effect: you just don’t want to leave from such beautiful people! Thanks to the whole team for such wonderful moments, you are incredible

We're taking a pleasant aftertaste home with us...

I couldn’t even imagine that Kyrgyzstan so cool! I went without expectations, but I received simply incredible emotions and left with the best impressions! I am planning more tours to Kyrgyzstan with Larisa before others have got to these locations. There are not many crowds of tourists while it remains unpopular.

Attention! Do not take this tour if you are not prepared for food challenges, breathtaking views, bright energy from the locals and super charming and mega responsible Larisa! It is impossible to describe in words everything that happened to us during these 5 days.

We take home with us a pleasant aftertaste from discovering an amazing, delightful country, I have brilliant photos on my phone and cool gifts from Larisa!

Thank you very much and see you again.

It is impressive and mesmerizing...

I had little expectations from the trip and country I was travelling to, I wanted to relax and wind down. As a result, my journey did not only fulfill these tasks, but also made me fall in love with Kyrgyzstan! Every day you see mountains and climb awe inspiring canyons, admire the stunning colours of Issyk-Kul, walk through alpine meadows, eat tasty food and have fun. Also there are a lot of animals, wonderful people and carefully preserved and revived traditions. It's impressive and fascinating, I would like to know more about this region and about these people: you get into it, you fall in love with it. This is what is important for me, to get the best result from the trip. Thank you, Larisa, for organizing this wonderful trip, for your love for Kyrgyzstan and what you do! Thank you for the fact that we were never in a rush and were always on time.
